About the

Nestled thirty-two kilometers from Beitbridge, Nottingham Retreat offers a serene escape on the banks of the stunning Mushiloshokwe Dam, where seven kilometers of pristine waters await anglers eager to catch bass and bream. This tranquil haven is alive with a diverse array of bird life, along with the intriguing sights of crocodiles and hippos basking in the sun. The landscape is adorned with rocky outcrops, and the sunsets here are nothing short of spectacular, framed by the majestic Baobab trees and others, that populate the area.

Nottingham Retreat features seven air-conditioned chalets, each perfectly positioned to overlook the dam. From your private patio, you can immerse yourself in the beauty of the wildlife and bird species that frequent the water's edge. Each chalet is elegantly appointed with a king-sized bed, two three-quarter beds, a bar fridge, and tea and coffee facilities. The en-suite bathroom offers both a bath and shower, ensuring your stay is as comfortable as it is captivating.

Fly Camp is the absolute highlight of your trip to Nottingham Estate. It is a natural rocky amphitheater where elephants and other wildlife munch on citrus that aren't quite up to human standards. It's like nature's own buffet! It is a memorable glimpse into the wildlife's world.

Sunset Cruise

Your chariot awaits to take you

on a time old "booze cruise" which is just a Zimbo excuse to sit on a boat with a drink of your choice and watch the sunset!
