Fly Camp - Elephants
Experience
Fly Camp is a natural rocky amphitheater where elephants and other wildlife munch on citrus that aren't quite up to human standards. It's like nature's own buffet! It is a memorable glimpse into the wildlife's world.

"Orange" Elephants
Fly Camp was built in 1984 as an entertainment area on top of a mountain that overlooks the feeding area.

After the oranges go to the Juicing factory down the road, the pulp is returned to the Fly Camp where it is fed to the wildlife. You won't find another spot in the world, quite like this!
The Viewpoint
The elephants absolutely love the pulp and oranges. They pick the pulp up and throw it in the air so it lands on their bodies, like they do with dust. They also just cannot wait for the men to offload the oranges, so they start eating them off the trailer!

When the elephants trumpet down there, it resonates off the rocks and is so loud that you can almost feel it. As the evening sets in, you can often hear hyena calling, and many of the other animals roaming about.

A Bonfire Sky
The sunsets are absolutely breathtaking, casting the landscape in a vibrant mix of pinks and oranges. As night falls, the stars come alive, shining brightly in the clear sky thanks to the minimal surrounding light. You can even see the Milky Way, which is a magical sight!
