About the

Take a trip through the Nyanga Mountains, down into the other side called the Honde Valley. Tucked away in this truly captivating corner of the country, you'll stumble upon one of Zimbabwe's best-kept secrets, Aberfoyle Lodge. It is surrounded by undulating tea fields, meandering rivers, majestic mountains, and charming forests.

Each room at Aberfoyle has it's own name, such as, Kingfisher, African Pitta, etc., and each room has paintings and information inside about the bird that it is named after. Another interesting fact is that there is a family of Palm Nut Vultures that live around Aberfoyle. These vultures are rare for Zimbabwe as usually they are found in coastal locations.
